12/5 Announcements

  • The Talent Show is canceled for December 5.  The Talent Show will be moved to March.
  • Are you interested in traveling to Japan during the Summer of 2021?  There will be an interest meeting on December 12 from 6-7 P.M. in Cobra Hall.  Interested students and parents are welcome to attend! Students who will have not graduated in May 2021 are eligible to attend the trip.
  • The application for Duke University Summer Session 2020 is now open.  Earn college credit alongside academically-motivated students from around the world in Duke University’s Summer College for High School Students. If you are a student currently in grades 10 – 12 and are at least 16-years-old or older, you are eligible to apply.  See https://summersession.duke.edu/high-school-students/ for more information.
  • The Bezos Scholars Program is a year-long leadership development program that amplifies youth voice and action. See https://bezosscholars.org/ for more information.
  • Students will need to turn in laptops and chargers on December 9.  Students will be able to use laptops during the day, but will not be able to take laptops home after December 9.
  • The missing work deadline is Friday, December 13.  No assignments will be accepted after this.  This means that makeup time needs to be completed by December 13 as well.
  • Exams start on Monday, December 16.
